What is SAT?
SAT is a general test of verbal and quantitative reasoning accepted for US College Admissions. Applicants to undergraduate courses, particularly in US and Canada, are required to take the SAT exam. SAT is of two types they are SAT Reasoning Test (SAT I) or SAT Subjects Test (SAT II). Both the SAT Test Patterns follow different formats to evaluate a candidate’s knowledge.
SAT-I: Reasoning Test
The SAT-I is a three hour, primarily multiple-choice test that measures verbal and mathematical reasoning abilities. Most colleges accept SAT-I scores for admission.
SAT-II: Subject Tests
The SAT-II subject tests are one-hour, primarily multiple-choice tests that measure your knowledge of the particular subject area. Many universities may require you to take this along with SAT-1.

Fee Payment Details:
The fee for SAT exams must be paid in US dollars. Fee in the form of cash is not accepted. The cheques need to be drawn in US banks.

The Average SAT Score for math is between 500 – 510. The average SAT score for Evidence-Based Reading and Writing is about 510 (51st percentile)

It actually may depend on the school to which you are applying. As per report SAT scores are valid over a period of 5 years.
