What is GMAT

The GMAT full form is Graduate Management Aptitude Admission Test. This management entrance test is conducted round the year. Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC) takes the responsibility of organizing the GMAT Exam. The computer adaptive test of GMAT assesses a person’s analytical writing, quantitative, verbal and reading skills for being admitted into a graduate management program. At present, 1,500 universities and institutions use GMAT’s score for selecting the candidates to their management programmes.

Eligibility For GMAT Exam:

There are no particular eligibility norms for GMAT Entrance Exam. However, various universities or colleges which accept GMAT scores have their own criteria of admission.

Duration of the programme: 

MBA (Master of Business Administration) Programme is of two years duration.

GMAT Exam Fee Structure:

  • The GMAT application fee is $250, which would roughly convert to Rs. 15,000 /- – Rs. 16,000/- approx.
  • The exam fee payment will be made through Visa, MasterCard, American Express and JCB cards.
  • Payment also can make through Cashier’s Checks, Money Orders and Personal Checks.

GMAT Exam Format:

GMAT is conducted in two formats:

  • Computer – Based Exam and
  • Paper – Based Exam.

GMAT Test Pattern

The GMAT Exam Pattern consists of mainly 4 sections they are
