The Museum of the City of New York also named as MCNY. MuseumoftheCityofNY is a history and art museum in New York City, New York was established by Henry Collins Brown. It was founded in 1923 as a private, non-profit corporation, the Museum serves the people of New York and visitors from across the country and around the world through exhibitions, collections, publications, and school and public programs.

Location:

MCYN is situated at 1220–1227 Fifth Avenue from East 103rd to 104th Streets, across from Central Park in the Upper East Side neighborhood of Manhattan, at the northern end of the Museum Mile section of Fifth Avenue.

Hours of Operation:

The Museum and Museum Store are open seven days a week from 10:00 am – 6:00 pm, Thursdays to 8 PM
