About Full Sail University:
Full Sail University is considered one of the premier media arts colleges in the world. It is a for-profit university in unincorporated Orange County, in the U.S. in Winter Park, Florida. The school was founded in 1979 in Dayton, Ohio, was founded by Jon Phelps, as Full Sail Recording Workshop. It was relocated to Florida in 1980.
As per wiki, In 1989 it moved to current campus, other entertainment and media-related areas of study were also added. In 2007 The University introduced Online Courses.
Full Sail University is a school designed to give students real-world experience in entertainment, media arts, and technology. Video Production and Music Production Courses were also added.

This is a very awesome school for hands on learners. I love the fact that they supply you with the necessities that you need for school which includes the latest Macbook pro. This school is what YOU make it. It is very fast paced and there is a new class every month.
Absolutely terrible school. The instructors and administration are unprofessional and small minded. You learn more from Lynda.com then from your own instructor (who takes forever-and-a-day to grade your assignments.) I wish I never went to this school and I would advise anyone out there who’s looking for a real education as well as a real college degree to go elsewhere.
