Donald Trump expressed his interest in running for President as early in 1987 and he entered the 2000 race as a Reform Party candidate. Trump became one of the most outspoken members of the birther movement after 2008. Trump finally admitted that there was no truth in the claims during the presidential race. In June 2015 Trump formally announced his entrance into the White House race.
